Stock audio: what's Audi doing wrong?
Hi all,
Just read a test of the new Alfa Romeo 166, replacement for their
top-of-the-line 164- standard equipment is very nice indeed. There's even a
stereo as standard, and it's a Becker! (very high-quality stuff, very
expensive). If you want more than a radio/cassette, the options list has
all kinds of Harman Kardon stuff listed.
Why is a high-end manufacturer like Audi sticking with low-end
manufacturers like Blaupunkt and Bose (the stuff sounds OK, but no more
than that) while the up-and-coming guys like Alfa use Beckers and HKs? Now
a Becker would be my idea of a stereo befitting Audis...
