alumaseal and radiators (no q content)

a friend with a peugeot wanted me to ask this question... apologies for
WOB:

How terrible would it be to use alumaseal or some variant of an internal
sealer on a pinhole leak in a radiator?  He has a Peugot 405DL, BTW.  The
equivalent of the p-list says it's okay, so long as you drain, remove,
seal, then let it fix, then flush again and reinstall.

Thoughts?  Private emails to save phil..
