Re: Early urq diff lock switch?




Thanks for all your responses, guys.  To summarize, the '83.5 -'84 urq
and the '84 4000q used the double-detent pull-switch for the diff locks.
This switch can be retrofitted to the early urquattro, but requires an
extra set of vacuum hoses to be routed to the rear diff.

I particularly like the idea of using a two-gauge center console
trim unit and installing the diff lock in the middle.  This gives you
space for two regular gauges on either side of the diff lock.
