My parts fiche tells the following story:
To 85-B-901221 - Bowden cables worked by levers either side of the
handbrake. Differentials fully independent.
85-B-901222 to 85-E-910500 - separate vacuum lines from each differential
to a common two-position pull switch.
85-F-900001 to 85-H-902400 - separate vacuum lines from each differential
to a common two-position turn switch.
85-J-900001 and onwards - electronic speed-sensitive control of one
(rear) differential only.
