re: 4000 eurolights (H4/H1)

As I understand it, there are three versions of e-code lights for the 4000
series cars;
1: Older dual headlight cars (non-aero lights) can buy replacement H4 and H1
bulbs.
2: Single bulb H4 lights. (H4 are two filament bulbs, one for low, one for
high)
3: Dual bulb H4/H1 lights. (lights up the H1 in conjuction with the H4 high
beam).

The dual bulb H4/H1 lights require brackets for mounting.
The turn signals on USA 4000-series cars are not the corner markers, but are
in the front bumper; perhaps the confusion is with the newer 80/90 models
where the corner marker is the turn signal.

These lights are available from many of the usual venders: Blau, Wolfsport,
GPR, ...(see the quattro list home page vender list off
http://coimbra.ans.net/quattro.html)
also through the group purchase we set up through Denon (see

Shop around a bit for pricing. Whoever you get them from, check on
availability, ask about bulbs being included, and I'd recommend using a
relayed wiring harness to provide power.
