Hmm, between that and the fact that they were "new in box," I wonder if
they weren't Porsche wheels, made by Fuchs, as used on 911's for a long
time. (Not nearly as cool as the Audi version, in my book, and more
common.) I saw a sale on them recently, saying that they were the last
"new in box" Fuchs that Porsche was clearing out of their inventory. Who
knows.
