Good news, buddy. The last couple of paragraphs indicated that Kim was
approached by several customers who wanted the same thing. He started
working on another customers Cabrio by pulling the V6 to drop in a 20vt.
He may be able to work up something for you - although he's in the UK,
it might be worth a buzz (I don't believe he has email). The floorpan
work didn't really seem that extensive, but remember that in order alter
the rear section everything (seats, fuel tank, trunk stuff, rear axle)
will probably need to be removed and then re-installed - if you want
quattro. It might be cheaper to find a CQ 20v and a totalled Cabrio and
cut up the CQ to fit the convertible top hardware and decklid from the
Cabrio.

Either way, it ain't gonna be easy, or cheap.
