Clutch Bleeding
I can't seem to get my clutch bled properly. ('86 5KTQ) I think air got
introduced when I had to take off the fluid resevoir and hence the
clutch hose. I get the strange pedal feel that goes away after a couple
pumps. It feels like the pedal doesn't want to go all the way down, and
then when pushed all the way down has a slight drag feel for the first 1
or 2 inches. This all goes away with pumping and it feels and works
perfectly, and then the problem returns later down the road. Sounds
like air. So, I've pressure bled it twice pumping more than a liter of
fluid through and it feels the same. Any tips on how the get that air
out or, to the clutch experts, could it be something else? (BTW the
clutch has less than 15K miles)
Thanks.
