re: Correct lift points for 5K/200
My '91 200q is presently floor-jacked under the "standard" side (slotted)
point, and the jackstand has been placed beneath the nearby rubber block
(or where the rubber bit _would_ be if it were still there :(
I guess you must have tall jackstands and/or not much lift from your floor
jack. You might consider using a small block of stout hardwood (oak or
maple) on the floor jack's saddle (I think that's the term) to get a little
extra lift so you can slide the jackstand in place. My mechanic has
suggested the subframe as another place where jacking could be done (or a
jackstand placed).
