Re: Radio ON/OFF/VOLUME questions
John, I was able to cure a really bad static problem in the volume control
knob of my 1993 100csq radio by spraying electrical contact cleaner in the
radio case perforations just behind the volume control knob on the side of
the case by just pulling the radio out a few inches. I worked the knob back
and forth until the static was gone, a few minutes. I do not know if this
will help but,it does not cost much to try. The contact cleaner comes from
Ace Hardware.
