I think the key here is what someone mentioned before and that was the current use of traction control (or basically slowing the engine and/or wheels down when the wheels start to slip) I know the VWs I've owned in the past have had terrible torque steer and that was a 2300 lbs car with a 123 hp engine!! I wouldn't want to see those cars with 200hp and no other mods!

You forgot the Cadillac's with Northstar 300hp through front wheels.
