re S.S. Brake lines

Qlist,
While checking the brakes on my '90 V8q I noticed a slight cut in
one of the rear brake lines. Does anyone know where I can find
a set of stainless steel brake lines to upgrade the stock lines,
and about how much they might set me back.
This question reminds me to bring to the list's attention Paragon
Performance, purveyor of DoT type SS brake lines. I asked them for a price
for my 90q and they obtained an OEM set from Audi to get measurements, then
quoted me as shown below. I would recommend them given their helpfulness
and willingness to take extreme responsibility for a shipping error. Their
price was the lowest I found. The lines I received, BTW, work well.
The part number for the 1988-1992 Audi 90 Quattro 4 line brake line
kit is: PLAQABS908892 and will sell for $68.95
Take 10% off for car club membership and this will bring your
final price (not including shipping) to: $62.05
UPS Regular shipping is: $5.95
Our brake line hose is designed to meet the DOT testing criteria.
It has a Teflon innertube which is Kevlar braided, then covered
with a Santoprene jacket and a final layer of stainless steel braid.
Because of this design, you will get a firmer pedal as hydraulic
expansion of the hose has been virtually eliminated.
