A4 Next Gen

Hmmm, that's not what I've been told. Just don't hold your breath until the
Paris Auto Show, fall 2000.

Now Jouko....

We all know you can be somewhat tight lipped sometimes (with good
reason)...;-)

The sheet I have in front of me directly from AoA (see, there goes ~95%
credibility) internal sources lists changes that those magazine artist types
could construe as the above changes. IMO, the changes will be less drastic,
but definitely WILL change the appearance. Examples: Projector lenses from
the A6, Sunroof from the A6, tailights from the A6, modified rear hatch on
Avant, door handles from the A6. Therefore, the A4 cannot be considered a
new generation A4...but will look different. Caveat: The US market dates
models one year ahead. One could reason that manufacturers will be tempted
to provide 2000 models ahead of competitors by using these designs in the US
market.

Jouko, can you tell us what A4 changes will take place in the Ingolstadt GP
changeover during WW3 1999?
