Read Bosch fuel Injection, the book with the picture of the glowing MAF sensor.
It CLEARLY states, under the section for "performance enhancements" or the
like, that too low a thermostat temp causes excess wear on the cylinder
walls.
Have you opened up your engine and measured? I bet that if you did, you'd
find abnormal wear, lousy compression, and lots of leak-through. As the
cylinder wall thins, the gap in your piston rings opens up(not with the
wall, but the actual ends of the rings get father apart.) You'll never
notice it....
Milage also suffers with a lower thermostat, correct all?
