V8 Dilemma
All,
I am on my sixth Audi, a 1990 V8. Wonderful road car, but here in the
Denver area, we have little road left. Seems as if driving now consists of
catching up to the next car, putting on the brakes, and waiting for the
very slim chance to pass. About the only fun I can find is a 0 to 60 mph
blast and a few mountain roads. So to my question(s).
I would like a car with more 0-60 ability than 60-120 ability. Not that I
don't love going fast, just that you have to drive several hours to get a
chance to speed. And getting worse. Did I suggest moving here??
My thoughts, '91 200 TQ, '92-'93 S4, '92 or later V8. Of course the 5 cyl
car would be 'chipped' etc. As mountains are near, handling is IMPORTANT,
as is 4WD. Budget about $20K, less is better! Is trading my V8 an idea,
or selling outright?
Thanks for your ideas/thoughts...
