RE: help w/ 99 A4 purchase, esp price...

Hi Derek,

I guess I wasn't clear but I've already convinced
my nephew of a 1.8TQ. Quattro option is non-negotiable :-).

I've received one reply stating that the Tiptronic
tranny is not an option if one plans mod it since
it can't handle the extra HP/Torque. Would Stage 1
chip be OK, is the factory warranty void if the
car is chipped?

I need more info on the Sport Package: what's included in
it? Lowering springs/shocks/sways??? Would he need to
upgrade shocks later on (to Bilsteins/Konis). I think I was
mistaken about the Hoppen upgrades; I think they're TAP
upgrades???

Pls reply soon, he wants to buy tonite!!!
