Manual Transmission and Gear Oil

I have a '91 Audi Coupe Quattro.  Ever since I have changed manual and gear
oil to Red Line, although fine when warm, the shifting is definetly more rough
when cold.

This was not the case with the original fluid and I regret I ever touched the
thing.  So, what's the part # for the replacement fluid since the dealers I
have called have no idea and are conflicting each other.

If not Audi oil, what's a good third party oil?  Mobil 1, Amsoil? Other?


Please help.
