Just remove the vertical air directing pieces.  There is two of them on the center
vent and one a piece on the side vents.  Once you get those removed there is four
tabs that cen be seen.  With a thin screwdriver pry them towards the inside of the
vent and pull on the vent itself at the same time.
Done it so many times it's not funny.  Couple of times fixing the seal and las
time to make space for the gauges.
