    Glad to listen.  I dont know about in the UK but in the USA a
company called Intrax will supposedly custom wind springs for you for
any application they make aftermarket units for.  This includes the
80/90 quattro.  You could do the same height springs but with a slightly
stiffer rate if you wished (which is what I would do).
    I have no contact information but a well known local shop that uses
Intrax said they would do this.  It is more expensive than the $200US
that aftermarket springs usually cost but may be cheaper and better than
OEM.
