I was recently winterizing the Corrado Syncro... the hoses, like your's, 
were all swollen and yucky.... decided it was time for a bit of silicone 
hose. No company yet produces a kit... the one VW kit I found (for the 
GTI) was $350! Youch! A search brought up Baker Precision as a 
distributor for Pursoil products. About $175 worth of universal pieces 
consisting of 90 and 45 bends in various sizes covered 85% of the hoses 
in the engine bay. There's pic of the hoses at...
