Obin- I have no experience replacing freeze plugs on an audi, but believe you
can get  a replacement plug at any good auto parts store. The plug consists of
a round  rubber  insert sandwiched between two round metal plates. They come
in various sizes, and by nature have some adjustment. You simply insert the
plug in the hole, and tighten the nut which squeezes the rubber insert into a
tight fit. I consider this a temporary fix, but I know some folks who leave
it. HTH
