Steve;

    This problem can be caused by an internally collapsed brake hose which
acts like a check valve, holding pressure on the caliper after the brake
pedal has been released. It doesn't take that much pressure to heat up a
rotor with constant drag at speed - the rotor doesn't get a chance to cool
off.
