That would be interesting to know. The retempering is a question I've
had about the
welding after looking at the Bentley also. Seems it would be tempered in
some way
due to the stresses placed on it. I think a good machine shop would
probably be
able to tell us about who, how, and what-ever-else, unless someone on
the list knows?
This question( and others ), time, money and more money are keeping me
from doing all
that I want to as quickly as I want to. Did I mention time ?
After seeing Martin's 5-bolt conversion I've been looking for an '86 or
later 5kt.
