Not quite sure what you mean here, but 4kqs do not HAVE a bomb. The brakes
are vacuum actuated, so there's a vacuum reservior to store boost for
engine-off braking. Only the hydraulic-boost cars (evidenced by three hoses
on the PS pump) have bombs.

Some with 4kq turbos have left the vacuum brakes/single-stage pump with no
(such folks, correct me if I'm wrong) ill effects.
