Steering Wheel

OK, here's more:  (For my 84 4ks)  Got the "Audi Quattro Book"
for Christmas and it's great!  Decided to look for a retro urq 
"style" steering wheel at the junkyard today and found something
similar in an 82 CGT.  Put it in my car but there is a gap between 
the weel and the column, am I missing a part or what?  I would
like to use the wheel, any help with this is greatly appreciated!!
