I'm running Mobil 1 0W40 in our Toyota Camry 4-cyl, and the oil
pressure lamp shuts down immediately when I release the key after
starting. I run Mobil 1 5W50 in the summer and 0W40 in the winter. Car
has 118K miles on it, no leaks. Don't think a new Audi can have
problems with the best oil available, when a 8 year old 118K miles car
run it flawlessly.. I've seen 10W40 oil when the temperature gets down
to -30, and it's very thick.. The 0W40 is just the same as it is at 70
degrees.. But as Phil Payne said, the 0W and 5W-oils are not so good
suited for use in high-performance engines. He knows a lot morethan I
do, but I think it sounds good to run 0W or 5W oil even in
high-performance cars if you live in extremely cold climates..
