after reading this...i have to ask why??? a)would you do it, and b) did you
have to do it that way? btw my audi is still on blocks because my son has
the tools spread all over the shop floor and i can't stand spending 20 mins
to find the tool i need. hopefully he'll finish working on his 'le car'
eventually.




Repair manual recommends that you also cut out a section
of the frame above the radiator and weld it back in when you're
re-installing the drivetrain.

BTDT many times, once outside at 0 degrees F.
