I had a "ticking" noise that sounded like a manifold leak. It turns out
that the little "sniffer" tube with the blue cap that comes up into the
engine compartment from the exhaust manifold had snapped off at the
exhaust. I took the compression nut off and put a bolt with a nut
through it to plug it and put it back on. All quiet now.
