Not a trick really, you put an end wrench on the top of the koni, _the flat
spot_ not the adjuster...
hold it here and tighten the gland nut, (slotted) then assemble and do the same
with the top outside nut.
The torgue on these is only 18-20 lbs, so you really shouldn't be having that
much trouble I wouldn't think.
As far as turning the slotted nut, a stout pair of needle nose pliers works
well for me...
