85 CGT problems

Hi everybody.
Today 85 CGT refused to start. When I disconnected cold start injector cable
car easily started.
We measured fuel pressure at service and found 9 bar (too high for
K-jetronic I guess, Does it really high ?). Sametime
fuel filter changed (very dirty), fuel injectors cleaned and after all
carbon cleaning came.
Now GT can't rev more then 4500. Service says that fuel pump can't deliver
enough gasoline and must be replaced. Can it be real, one day ago it easily
rev 6500-7000.
