1st speed radiator fan--solved

Thanks to all of you who e-mailed me with clues to my rad. fan problem on my
88 80q.

I found the a/c switch itself to be the problem.

First I had to remove the center vents, accessory switches, climate control
dials, radio, and ashtray.

I could then get to the bolts that held in the center console.

I removed the wiring harness from the a/c,recirc switch and removed it from
the control head.

I dis-assembled the switch and found a small metal strip that acted like a
spring to actuate the switch, laying in the bottom of the housing.

I replaced the metal srtip to its proper location, lubricated and re-
assembled.
