new engine

in my '88 90q to an I5 turbo.  I received several supportive replies and

possible swaps and I'd like some of your input on which way to go.  The
first is a '87 I510vT for $1200.00, second is a '90 I510vT with dual
knock
sensors and the K24 turbo for $2000.00, and last is the '91 I520vT for
$5500.00.  These prices are from DAD's, so anyone who has had any
dealings
with them positive or negative, would help.  Anyone can e-mail me
privately, if preferred, so not to add too much to the list.  Thanks for

I have dealt with Dads on a number of occasions,  they have always
gotten it right the first time.  As for the engine, I would go for the
I5 10v with the k24. The other one is too much money, and you will get
almost as much power with the k24 turbo(ie more boost early in power
band) Plus ... you have to get it put in, and thats going to cost a
bunch!
Good luck,  Make sure they use a reputable shipper,  I bought a fender
and they delivered it by some wierdo with a beat up pickup truck,  came
in scratched and dented.
