Right on the nose...fuel pump strainer had been cut off.(TSB from Audi)
I replaced the pump.....everything is fine...new pump no buzzing...no
lean condition good cold and warm acceleration....
Gas tank looked very clean...no coating contamination under or around
the pump....
So you were right again !!!
