200 Quattro heating problems

I am an owner of a 1989 200 Turbo Quattro. Just recently when I would go
around a corner or make a turn with the heater blower on the blower would just
begin to cut out on me. Then eventually it just quit working. Once in a while
it will start up and work for awhile, usually right after I start it up. Then
it just goes out for the rest of the trip. Does anyone have an Idea as to what
could be the problem?
