I had the exact same symptoms on my 5000 TQ after doing some work.
If your setup is the same as mine (a bracket welded to the wheel bearing
housing right by the hole for the speed sensor for securing the speed
sensor) you may want to check this bracket for square on _all_ axes
(sp? is that the plural of axis?). I reseated my speed sensors several
times with new spacer caps but was still having problems. I did recall
though that when I was pulling the bearing out I bent the aforementioned
bracket. Putting this bracket in its' intended orientation (actually
used a small square) fixed the problem. Seems that with the bracket
cocked, when i tightened the screw securing the speed sensor to said
bracket, the orientation of the speed sensor too became cocked.
