RS2 Injectors & fault code

Thanks so much Mark.

As an FYI, here are all the goods...

The part numbers are:
Bosch 0 280 150 984
Audi 034 906 031F
Porsche 993 606 120 00

Porsche dealer in Boulder wants $104.50 each (off the P-car part #), remind
me, again, why I never buy parts from these guys?

Mark, could you forward me the name & number of your Bosch Distributor?
Carlsen called theirs and he couldn't help!

My injectors are, in fact, maxed out at high boost so added pressure
wouldn't do me any good, correct?
Another question, on increased fuel pressure. I used to have a rising rate
fuel pressure regulator on the car but I was told that on a closed loop
system the computer will counteract / compensate for the increased pressure
by closing the injector sooner. Thus making the rising rate fuel pressure
regulator counter productive or at least nullifying its claimed benefit and
making it an expensive way to stress out your fuel pump. Agree or dis-agree?

On a separate note I had the fault codes downloaded off of my '93 S4, while
it was idling, and the shop came up with...

Engine Speed Sensor, G28, Incorrect Signal - Intermittent.

Can I get a little help here with this one. What is my next step? Checking
the sensors ohm values?

Thanks for the help everyone. This list really puts a wealth of knowledge at
your fingertips and answers are only a few cyberspace clicks away.

You don't need to go to Hoppen; you can get these from any Bosch dealer.
They are a Porsche Carrera RS injectors, PN 0 280 150 984 which flows at
444cc/min. They run about $40 each. If you're going to be running more
boost in addition to these injectors, I'd suggest a rising rate fuel
pressure regulator or bigger fuel pump. The last thing you want is for this
thing to run on the lean side.

cya!
