Soon FS: 87 5000 CStq (long)

As I expect to reach an accomodation with Osman, I intend to put my 87 up
for sale. Several on the list have seen it. The body isn't in the best of
shape (disney parking lots), the paint is going/going... and it has other
various 'issues'

Color: Mahogony/Tan.      Expected price: $1850.00         Pictures avail
(bear in mind this is a '25 foot' car)
Miles: 249K  Currently undergoing hydraulic work/tie rod replacement...

To my mind it would make a good winter/town beater or parts car, especially
for someone contemplating a 4Ktq project.

Pluses:
100K on rebuild, synthetic last 85K, qlcc chip/Charlie spring - runs great
to 1.85 bar
Turbo has 120K (replaced last year), spare intercooler, spare K26 core, new
IC-TB hose (3 mo).
New stock pads/rotors 
100 euro lights/grill 
Eibach Pro Kit, new front TG strut carts
Entire front end suspension redone - complete tie rods, strut bearings,
strut bushings, lower control arm assemblies, Delrin subframe bushings, new
front wheel bearings
all metal radiator, aux pump is 1.5 years old, after run cooling works fine.
rebuilt PS pump (this week), newer (1 year old) accumulator, Jorgen rack
1.5 years old, new or <1 year hyd hoses.
Sport seats (alcantara), included is a complete spare set of seat
cushions/upholstery.
in dash boost guage.
Rebuilt AC compressor (ND), replaced manifold, Fixed ac vent door kit and
resealed.
front outer cv boot replaced
will come with mesh rims 

Possibly avail/installed at extra cost:
Fuch Alloys with crappy tires (Firestone Affinities that wouldn't die) or
A8 rims with SP8000s (no either set ain't going sep just yet)
1 new rear axle assembly (just in case part)
new AC blower assembly
200 euro lights/grill
'91 sport seats (all tan leather)
'87 rear diff
timing belt/idler
Momo Champion steering wheel

Minuses:
Paint/body - previously mentioned
cracked windshield (top to bottom)
noisy throwout bearing (been that way the entire 3 years I owned it)  
broken #5 exhaust stud (noisy until warmed up)
slop in rear diff (no real problem - just high miles) bought a low mileage
rear diff to replace it.
1 stripped rear wheel bolt (comes w/new hub)

Talk to any of the east coast crew that drove to PP - Audifest '98 (Jim G.,
Ed K., Christian, , Bob M., etc) - car runs fine and uses 1 quart/2000
miles on trips, 1200 miles in town. Loves to run all day at 110 mph. Lead
drive from KC to Colorado Springs. 
It ain't perfect and neither am I. I've just put an absolute ton of money
into this car over my 3+ years of ownership and loved every minute of it.
Its been drop dead reliable, my 'work' car at Disney resorts - I've put
almost 100K on it in 3.5 years.
