Re: Parts Acquisition
Joe,
Where da ya live ? Depending on your state and town, other listers
can probably guide you too a local reputable yard for parts.
The headlight assembly should cost ya about a $100.- ea. bucks or so.
Which audi emblem are you reffering to ? the chrome rings on the grill ?

As a new member of the "list," I am truly overwhelmed by the number of
messages that I see. I didn't know that there were that many Audis out
there.
Two questions: I sent a rather detailed message out a couple of weeks ago,
on another "on-line" forum having to do with major work done on my '86
5000S. My basic question was, among other things, the dealer's conclusion
that I ended up with an "irregular heartbeat" because of worn engine
mounts. I had several responses, which I saw later on THIS forum. Was
that a coincidence, because I saw no other responses?
Question (2) - not related. Rear ended someone yesterday, and broke front
headlight glass, and Audi emblem. Have those items replaced by dealer, or
try to find same in resting place of some Audis of that ilk that were
wrecked?
Thanks, in advance, for those who care to reply.
