Thanks for the pointer Todd ... I subscribe to EC so I'll look through it
for that!  I've found a few places via Yahoo, but the closest one that I
have found to where I live is near Seattle.  If I'm going to have to ship
anyway I might as well ship it to the place with the lowest prices ...

Given that the reason a manifold warps/cracks in the first place is built up
internal stresses ... and given that the cryogenic treatment relieves those
same stresses it should do exactly what I want ... give me an EM that I
don't have to worry about cracking or pulling studs.  The only concern that
I just came up with is the fact that if indeed there were any residual
stresses that they might actually cause the manifold to warp ... meaning
that my nicely machined manifold may need to be remachined!

It looks like I can get it done for $50 (or less) + shipping, so I'm pretty
convinced that I want to do it.  I think I'm going to ask them about
dimensional changes after the treatment ... in the ads they make it sound as
if you just freeze the thing and then put it back in.
