I defer to Jeffrey's wisdom on this as he has more than likely forgot more
about suspension stuff than I will ever know. Thank you for this explaination!
I based my theory on my years of living with a couple different 911s, a car
notorious for bump steer that only got worse with lowering. You kinda learn to
live with it and, like a spirited horse, give 'em their reigns.
Seems that the damper may well be a great mod. I recall hearing of this some
time back too (Scott Mockry maybe?). Does this just bolt right in on the type
44 chassis?
I suppose we still can't rule out that Gross may have a worn rack too...
