I have had the stuck bolt on my '83 urQ.Since the alternator is on the
"busy side" of the tqc motor,getting the mount off the block without
removing the aux radiator ranks right up there with a root canal.
I think it's due to some galvanic corrosion (steel bolt, alum.
alternator housing) liberal coating of the bolt with anti-seize or zinc
chromate is good insurance for the NEXT time.And I am sure, there will
be a next time.
