Not only car companies went mergin' -- but looka those tire companies.
Goodyear crap did a friendly merged with some oddball Japanese tire
company (Sumimoto? Toyo?). Talking about merging frenzy!

Seems like the only thing unique about Audi now days is that aluminium A8
with that V8. VW has recently shown New Beetle with the twin-turbo V6
previously found in S4. The only thing keeping VW from using ASF in other
production cars is Audi's agreement with Alcoa... Maybe that was a good
thing.
