I can sympathize with Shayne on this one. Some asshole nailed my car
about a
month ago. Luckily the damage is restricted to the passenger rear door,
but is
still makes me extremely angry. I convinced my insurance company that it
was
vandalism, as in someone kicking the door, so my deductable is less, but
it's
still going to be $120 out of my pocket.

Get this, the shop was going to re-skin the door, no skins available.
They
have to buy the entire door, of course I made sure they are using
genuine
Audi. Funny thing is, the door is only $300, but the whole bill comes
out
right around $1000. Pearl white paint and the labor to swap all the door

hardware accounts for the rest.

Too bad they didn't hit the driver's side rear door, that one already
has a
ding in it. NO, they had to hit one of the perfect doors!
