I've got a V1 with the remote display, and it works great.  I've got the
detector mounted up high by the rear view mirror, and the display tucked up
in the corner of the dash.  The remote display works well, and does'nt
advertise that you are using a radar detector.

As for the laser detection, unless your driving in traffic, if it goes off,
its probably to late. BTDT :-( .

Now that I've got a V1, I wont use anything else.
