I have to sleep now but just wanted to answer quick.  Modded car will be 89
200 w/5-speed.  Wife snagged 85 5Kt as her daily driver.  She just got done
paying for a 93 Dodge Shadow.  Yeah, I know.  It was her choice.  It needed
some repairs, so while I'm doing the brakes, struts and stuff, I let her use
the 85.  Oh, the old boat rides smoother, quieter, more stable, better brakes,
handling, creature comforts and near equal fuel economy with much larger
cabin(3 kids).  Needless to say, the Dodge is in the garage as a back-up car,
junk runner, posssible 1st car for oldest daughter, and I'm looking for
another Audi.  Excellent!  Nows my chance to get a quat.  Hence the 89 200tq.

The underhood wastegate control might be a good idea.  I could definitely see
myself dialing that sucker up often.

The one benefit no one has mentioned regarding the media control of the flock
and public opinion is that when "they" say something is no longer cool, safe,
or is out of style, people with opinions they OWN can suddenly get great deals
on all types of quality products.  It's kind of like playing the stock market.

I will let you know whatever I do with this info.
