Based upon the $$$ price my local Audi dealer quoted me for a new front S4
badge, I'd say you've guessed correctly.  You'd think they were made out of
some space-age alloy for the price they want.  To misquote the famous
Porsche racer, Mark Donahue, S4 badges must be "constructed from that rare
metal - Unobtainium."

Has anyone found a better deal on new S4 badges?  I'd really like to know.
