86 5KS Manual Transmission question

Greetings:

In my 86 5000S, non-quattro, sometimes the gears do not want
to disengage easily. I occasionally have to give the shifter
a good tug to pull it out of gear. Nothing too forceful, but
more than typically required. The clutch was replaced (by a
trustworthy mechanic) about 7 months / 5K miles ago, due to
some rodents making it their brief home.

Any BTDT out there before I make an appointment at a
mechanic for this and a few other small things (slow leak of
brake fluid and associated slightly mushy brake pedal, and
slow coolant leak. -"slow" meaning the brake fluid is below
full, but well above "min", and I once added a little
coolant)?
