... it's not that bad to remove, except that it is easier if you have the
puller. there is a boss on the back of the pulley that fits snugly into a
cutout in the front of the oil pump cover. I managed to get mine out
without the official tool.
The big caveat is _not_ to use the bolt that holds the pulley in place as a
puller to install it. The bolt is not suited to take that much torque.
There are a number of folks who have broken that bolt while trying to use it
to install the pulley ... which usually means that you'll need to pull the
crank pulley and oil pump to get the rest of the broken bolt out ...
