i saw an old school scirocco a couple of months ago that was obviously
turbocharged.
perhaps this was true in your case as well?
a scirocco can have anything from a 1.6 liter 75 hp i4 up to a conversion
to a modded 2.0 g60 or 3.0 vr6 that puts out well over 200hp.
the early ones weighed less than 2000 lbs stock so 100hp goes a long way
with that car.
