	IF it is a late model Scirocco which this must have been they have
the 16v motor and put out 127hp??? and pull 0-60 in about 8.0 - 8.5.I've
seen 7.9 published at one time but that is stretching it.  You should take
one by suprise as they have NO torque but if the guy is ready and gets the
Revs above 4k then say bye bye.  
	The Normal 8v models should do 0-60 in about 10 - 11.  BAsically
about the same as your coupe but maybe a little slower.  You will take
them on the highway though.
	Of course there are many Sciroccos and Golfs and Jettas running
around with MUCH more HP.  Say 150 if NA and 150 - 200 if turbo charged.
That will catch you by surprise.  I got blasted by a golf GTI 8v once.
Lit up the front tires at 60 mph and toasted me.  Well, I knew he would
because I knew the guy.  Golf was supercharged and had roughly 200hp with
stock gearing.  It was fast.  He could spin tires by droppig the clutch in
1-3 and occasionally 4th.
	Of course a ur-q or 4ktq or 5ktq with 400hp will smoke one of them
anyday. :-)
